What is Personal Training?

This is difficult to explain because Personal Training can be so many different things depending on the client - that's what makes it personal!
A client may train with their trainer as many days a week as they see fit. That in most cases that ranges from 1x/week - 4x/week which depends on the client and their goals and that can be done individually, with a partner (if you have one) or in a group/class that's offered. Many variables will determine which route you take: personal goals, time of day your available to be trained and budget to your own personal training regimen, keep in mind a structured training program is better than not having one.
At the very least, a client should have one session a week with their trainer to be held accountable, for workouts to be changed around and for their progress to be monitored. These factors mentioned are just a few and are critical to your success; too many people continue on with the same workouts for an extended period of time,
dont' put in the proper effort needed during workouts and even skip workouts then wonder why they're not experiencing changes in their fitness level. Don't let this be you!
A client can decide whether they'd like to focus on cardio-conditioning, muscle-conditioning, flexibility, nutrition or a combination of all of these, or something totally different, who knows? They could decide to workout with their trainer within a studio, at home, in a gym or even outdoors. They could decide they want to learn to run, build muscles or maybe just go for a hike. Everybody has different goals and all are equally important. We really do strive to make our clients' training sessions as individualized as they are and reach their goals as fast as possible and then of course make new ones!
Personal training is for everyone with all aspects of fitness in mind from beginners, intermediate, elderly individuals, people experiencing back, neck, knee and shoulder problems, competitive athletes (all ages), tri-athletes, runners, pre/post natal, obese clients, diabetic individuals, osteoporotic individuals and many, many more. We are completely confident that regardless of your special considerations, we will be able to help you achieve a higher level of health and fitness. To sum it up Personal Training is everything and anything for everyone who has a goal. Whatever it may be!
